Fighting Sources of Disease

Lymph node disorders can also be identified by the location of the swelling, namely:

  • Neck

    • Swelling in the neck, lower jaw, or behind the ear is generally caused by a cold or sore throat. Swollen glands can be caused by other conditions in the form of injuries due to bites or wounds, as well as tumors or infections of the head, neck and mouth.

  • Fold the thigh

    • Swollen lymph nodes in the groin can be caused by injury or infection in the area around the groin or groin, genitals, and legs. Although rare, swelling can also be caused by lymphoma, melanoma or testicular cancer.

  • Collarbone

    • Swollen lymph nodes in the collarbone area can be caused by tumors or infections in the area around the breast, lungs, or stomach.

  • Armpit

    • Swollen lymph nodes in the armpit are usually caused by injury or infection in the armpits, arms or hands. In rare cases, swelling of this gland can indicate lymphoma or breast cancer.
